And, although Destiny is close by, so is the Evil One who lives only to Steal, Kill, and Destroy. 64 years later, a petty thief detours into Dry Fork. Little does he realize his life will change forever, because of a quaint little store called Food World. A place of Hope, a place of Joy, a place where Destiny still permeates it's Faded Walls.
Still, as the young man silently breaks into the old store in the dead of night, he does not yet know it, but his own Destiny, or Demise, will depend on the mysterious man who first arrived in this small community in 1937. Two men, who have never met, who lived in two different eras, will need the strength of the other, to overcome the evil that has secretly engulfed an unsuspecting community. With Death comes Life, and with Sorrow comes Joy.
Two men, one who vanished mysteriously decades earlier, and one who has recently taken a Detour to Dry Fork, must uncover the secrets that hide within the walls of Food World, or die trying. (Prologue He stood there alone...all alone...so alone. He held the reins of his pack mule steady as he waited in the middle of the mud soaked road, looking first to his left, and then to his right. Waiting...waiting for what? Waiting for who? Waiting for his Miracle? Waiting for his Destiny? No, waiting for someone who would never come. Where would he go from here? Where do you go when your life is gone? Who do you turn to for hope when all hope has died? He had come to Dry Fork, TN with so many plans, so many dreams. Now only darkness awaited him, only nightmares would greet his troubled mind when he lay his head down at night. As he heard the loud clap of thunder rattle the wooden "Welcome to Dry Fork" sign next to him, he felt the wind blow across his face with such force that it immediately wiped the tears from his eyes as if an invisible, tender lover had gently caressed them away the very moment they formed. The rain came down at that moment with such force, that within seconds, he and his mule were soaked to the bone. He didn't care. He didn't care about anything anymore; except for the one thing he had lost...his Destiny. HIS DESTINY! The Destiny he had found and lost in Dry Fork, TN. Andy is the best as getting across a point that we can accept either as Christians or non-christians. He is able to present a positive attitude towards both.
