Kudos to Soluciones Tainas, for this work of art, Saving Energy, The Right Way: Adjustments to help save energy and gas! After reading this book I couldn't help but wonder about all the money I've probably wasted not knowing these simple tricks I could've used to conserve some energy. Believe me I live in Massachusetts, so I could have used it. The book touches on everything from garbage to solar energy with constructive information and a little instruction on making what they're talking about happen for the reader.Soluciones Tainas touches on water heaters and the need to choose wisely. As you may know, if you're a homeowner, water heaters are the bane of all homeowners. They're great when they work, but they can cost an arm and a leg to maintain. They suggestion that we should check the radiant heat-loss rating is great because it's something not too many of us think about. Good for you if you did, but that's something the average homeowner doesn't think about. The mere mention of a tankless water heater is a winner in my book. Tankless water heaters can end up saving you tons of money in the long run even though they cost a lot more to install up front.
When I read through the sections on Gas prices they made me smile. Gasoline is covered in a few sections of this book and all I can say is, thank you. Gas prices are the biggest drain on wallets these days with the prices at the pump so high and all. We've all heard about the importance of keeping your car tuned in order to burn less gas on while driving. They get deeper into the saving suggestions by suggesting gassing up the day before you travel. Two thumbs up for that. The way gas prices rise these days, it can save you a few dollars in the long run, not to mention time spent getting going earlier.
The amount of detail in this book is well worth the 99 cents trust me. I am happy I took the chance and purchased it you will be too. Soluciones Tainas, Hope I spelled that right, thanks for writing an energy savings guide full of useful tips.

Saving Energy The Right Way is a very helpful book. The author covers many different ways to cut cost and save energy around the home as well as ways to save gas. He touches on everything from how to make your home more efficient by switching out appliances and light bulbs to using alternative fuels. Myself, like many people, are trying to find ways to keep more money in our pockets and this book contains some helpful ideas that may go beyond the normal tips you are aware of.
We all have heard about turning out the light we you leave a room, or shutting off the tap when brushing your teeth. But I never even considered the idea of where I park my car could affect the gas in my tank. So I may have to walk a few more steps to get to the store, but we all could use a little more exercise in our lives. The author also mentions how people used to walk to school and work and this was normal!
Everything we use as consumers is related to fuel and fuel costs. Gas prices have increased, so now it takes more to transport everything to store. The trucking industry has been hit by this and drivers are suffering. I know a couple of truck drivers, and more money is taken out of their paychecks to cover fuel surcharges.
I enjoy reading quick eBooks like this that are informative and fun to read. The end of the book contains other publications on many different topics including blogging, job interviewing, and positive thinking, which I plan on checking out as well as his blog - Soluciones Tainas.
Often when reading these, I find that the author should have written it in his native language and fed it into an automated translation tool rather than attempt (and fail) to write in English. This one is not quite that bad, though that strategy still may produce a better result. It's plainly obvious that the author is not a native English speaker and much of it is unintentionally funny, but you can understand what is meant by most sentences.
Contained within are the standard tips that show up in every newspaper/magazine/online article ever published about saving energy and money. They are repeated over and over again. There is a lot of filler in the form of rambling inconsequential chat.
After reading 43 nearly-identical pages of the same tips over and over, slightly reworded, I'm left with two possible explanations
1. The author hopes that he'll actually say it right if he keeps trying.
2. He just wants to make the listing show a lot of pages so people are more likely to be separated from their money.
It's not *completely* incomprehensible and there's not much totally incorrect information so I did not rate it down to 1 star, but it's still a failure.
There were a few good tips to use. Some are redundant from other articles. I do suggest a peek at it for up to date information.
This book does not contain much solid information on saving energy. It's nice to say, "buy a car with high gas milage" or "look for gas stations with low prices," but these really didn't offer me anything I didn't already know. Some of the content is useful as introductory material, but I would not have found this a worthwhile $2.99 purchase.
